First Day of Preschool

Bailee started back at preschool. I wish I didnt have to send her, but Momma's got to work. She was a little unhappy when we first arrived. Bailee learned she was no longer in the Butterfly class, but had moved up to the Bear class. Her response "I want to be a butterfly, they are pretty, bears are not pretty!" She saw some friends and teachers from last years and the fear melted away. Here are a few pics from the first two days. I let her pick her 1st day outfit.

Burney Falls

This past weekend we (Ray, Bailee, Madison(niece) and me) went on a day trip to Burney Falls. Ray was great putting up with three girls all day. The girls did great. There was little complaining on the 1.3 hike around the falls. Bailee did get some rest riding on Ray's shoulders. We had lunch, dinner and smores. Ray and I played a game of Sorry, while the girls rolled around in the dirt. Ray beat me at Sorry, but we had a rematch this week and I WON! It was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday with my two favorite people I love sooo much, Ray & Bai. And having my niece there made Bailee's day. Its so beautiful up there.

Pray for Safety

These are pictures taken from my front yard 3 minutes ago. There is firing across the street. A lot of dry brush. I am asking anyone reading this to pray. For the safety of the fire fighters, for the family who property this is on, and for my family's safety. I was just told by a fire fighter, that they have a line around the fire, but are keeping a fire engine right in front of our house for safety.
It is very hot out there, fire fighters are so awesome.

What a Day!

This has been one crazy day. My Grandma GG died last night. She had lived a long life and was ready to go home to be with Jesus and her husband. I will miss her very much, but I am so happy for her. Later I get a call from Placer County CPS. They wanted to make sure Bailee was okay. On June 7 Bailee was at a visitation with her father. He was drunk at a public pool with Bailee and was trying to force her in the pool. Someone called the police. He was arrested for Cruelty to a child, Battery, being drunk inpublic, he had a warrant out from Tehama county, and 2 violations for probation that he has in Shasta and Tehama county. He is in jail. I am so thankful to God for keeping Bailee safe. Philippe had many chances to get his act together. I want to thank all the people who have prayed for me and Baileee, through this. He wont be able to see her for a long time. I feel kinda weird. Happy, but a bit disappointed that he is going to miss out on an amazing little girl.

GOD is soooo GOOD!!!

I realize now, what it means when people say, "God does things in His own time, not when you want." First the good news on Tuesday: I am not sure if anyone knew but, there has been a murder trial going on in Redding. The murder of my dear friend and brother in Christ, Robbie Scott Clark. His murderer Jerome Anderson was convicted 12 years ago and given life, recently he was given a new trial by the 9th circuit court(those people are crazy) so its been difficult, but he was convicted again of murder in the 1st. Praise God!!! What a relief for the family. I am so proud the way Robbie's daughter, Alia Clark, handled it all. Alia, my niece, is a member of the Stirring. She works with Stirring kids each week. She has a heart for God and her compassion even taught her Aunt a few things. The family kept trust in the Lord throughout this whole ordeal. Thank you, Jesus! Second great news happened yesterday. I received the recommendation by the mediator, regarding custody of Bailee. They have awarded me SOLE legal and physical custody of Bailee. AWESOME!! This victory is the product of a lot of hard work, a lot of prayer, a lot of trust in God, scripture, and doing what God has wanted me to do. At times, I wasn't sure if I would see a positive end to the pain. But in His time he answered my prayers. THANK YOU JESUS!! I want to thank all of you who have prayed, listened to me and given me advice. I wouldn't have made it without the love and support of my church family.

Blog Break

After going back to work full-time, I had to put blogging on the back burner. Glad to be back. Things have been going pretty well. Life is exciting. Love my job. Met a man. (Yes, a man) Baliee is taking tap and ballet. The Lord is working in my life. I am blessed with friends. Thank you for all that have prayed for Bailee and I. I recently found out that Bailee was in the car, when her father got arrested for a DUI. I was angry, but then I focused on the good part, God watched over my baby that night. I have Him to thank for her safety and I am leaving punishing Philippe up to God. The past two weeks were a bit difficult, but I was able to manage with the love of friends, my life group and the grace of God. Here are a couple of pics.
